Well unbelievably 3 weeks have passed and we have come to the end of our family holiday in Florida. In the second half of our week in Orlando we visited Universal Islands of Adventure and then Aquatica water park. I was forced to overcome any fears of roller coaster rides by being 'encouraged' onto Dragon Challenge (not once but twice) although some incoming electrical storms meant that 'unfortunately' the Hulk roller coaster had to be closed.
The water park was good, the highlight was a 80ft drop slide, where you stand vertical in a capsule and the floor drops away from you, talk about an adrenalin rush, its bizarre that I'm not bothered about that but roller coasters make me nervous.
On Sunday we left our lovely house and swimming pool and headed back to Fort Lauderdale ready for our flight back to Heathrow on Tuesday morning.
Its been an unbelievable family holiday we've had some great times with loads of fantastic memories that will last us for years to come. We've stayed in some beautiful places and our final hotel in Fort Lauderdale lived up to expectations, located at the edge of the beach with a picture window over looking the Ocean. Things really couldn't have been better.
So what's next! A few rest days and hopefully a builder is going to turn up and we can start to do the planned changes to our house. I'll keep you posted.
Great to hear that Wednesday made a good start to the season, hope it lasts and will be at Hillsborough next Saturday.
