Ferguson always used to say that no one person is bigger than the club, and that's what I truly believe. Players may come and go, managers may come and go, but Wednesday will always be there. I'm proud to be a Wednesday supporter, it's a great club with a great heritage. The Wednesday family, I do not believe exists, to the same extent at any other club. It wouldn't matter to me what division we played in, I'd be there week in week out because they are my club and I will follow them through thick and thin. Of course I want them to be successful, but the excitement for me is not that we are in the premiership, but to look forward to going to Hillsborough on a Saturday, couple of pints before the match enjoying banter in the match and debating this that and the other on my way home. It's been the same for me since we were managed by big Jack in the third division and when we were in the Premiership.
So we move on, who will replace Steve Bruce, well I don't know, (just don't give us another Jos) Chris Houghton would be a good choice, but he doesn't appear interested, Grant McCann would be an outside choice, done a great job at Doncaster. To be honest I'm not sure it's always about the big names, but more about fitting into the Wednesday family, I thought Steve Bruce was that man. Let's see who comes next, but who ever it is I'll be there next season, no matter what, and when the next manager has come and gone I'll still be there because #wawaw
